What is so great about Halloween?? That the kids and adults have to dress up. The Spirit place on McArdle has to be backed up and people all act strange?
Haven't they heard that Christ died for them?

Better Times
Well, things have gotton better since the last time I was here. Norman is attending classes that he needs to for the alcoholism. I am not painting anymore of the house. Instead, I have moved furniture and put up the Christmas Tree on Halloween.
WE NEED TO CELEBRATE LIFE!!!!
Expectily after the last 2 weeks. Dad is better and is home with meds. he went home today.

Dad again
what a day today I had to go check dad into the hospital with something on his leg that has been there for a while. tHe doctor says 7-10 days before he will be out this time.
Pray that he gets well and that he doesn't need his leg amputated. Also, pray for there salvation. They do not know Christ at all.

What a day this was Norman went to church!!!! Yeah!!!
And talked to people that he regulaerly does not talk to and also told some of his experience that he had in Detox so that it is out now. so now we can deal with it.
Pray for us though as this is a long process for the rest of his life.
Monday, TODAY!!
He went to the doctor that told him that he can not be doing that anymore. I also think that he realized that he could have lost his family. We also talked to family from out of town today about it and they made it clear that they are also here to support him in everything also.

Better Days
Well, it has been better i picked up Norman on Friday in the morning. Since then it has been quiet around here nothing really going on. Still, needs to go back for more cojunseling and group though. Also, needs to find connections in the Church though for himself. He needs someone that has been there to guide him thru the rest of the life long process. And to be healed from it. Pray for the whole family and keep us safe from all things.

The next Day
What a day in itself. After being at the hospital till 9:30pm. I still had energy to go out and exercise and decide to buy paint, so my Living room is getting redone.
WOW, What happened?!!!!
Went to Refugio everything okay. And then at midnight Norman leaves and goes to his friends house in the "Erskine neighborhood". He comes back at 7:20am, and is drunker than a skunk and smelt like it too. So, we waited for him to pass out after arguing with us about stupid stuff.
We went to church and many people prayed with us and for us. So that we know that we haev to VICtory on this. We went to his aunts' house where we held up there and did not call him back. From there I was able to get him into Padre Behavorial Hospital, while he was still drunk.
This is when I began contacting family members from Refugio to all over Corpus. Once I was sure that I had everyone in line. I called the Police and got 3 Police Officers to come with me to my house where we had an INTERVENTION and he said within the first 5 seconds that he would go and that is when he went PEACEFULLY.
PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
That was Sunday.

God today has been sending me all day to one scripture that we read Weds. night 1 Thesolians 5:17 (sorry for the bad spelling). But He tells me that I need to let all His people Know that they need to keep praying and to Pray Hard for their needs for He always provides. Such as in Matthew 6:8 also.

Conference and Cooking Class
I had so much Fun at the caonference and listening to all the speakers. Was really moving.
Also, at the conference I did take off the wig and let my hair down, HA HA.
What I great time I have been in prayer even more and ready to be filled even more with the Word than ever.
Since then also I have been to Cooking Class and there also I took off my hair and Cooked what a feeling to finally let someone other than family in on the secret and feel that I am still loved.

Really Crazy times
Today and the last few days have been crazy with school, homework and what ever else comes my way. today was crazy I decided that Norman went to work so I cooked Lasagne, made cookies and a cake am I crazy or what. Still, have to give the little dog a bath. And send off the bills and get ready for the conference that is coming.
